Turton’s Track

Turtons Track is a narrow and winding sealed road between Beech Forest and Tanybryn. It winds through some of the most magnificent sections of the Otway rainforest. For about 12 kilometres the road is surrounded by tree fern glades, giant messmate and beech trees.

This is usually the last part of a rainforest loop starting and finishing in Apollo Bay.  This is a full day of adventures including The Otway Fly Treetop walk, forest walks to the numerous waterfalls in the area, and stops at serene river crossings and remnants of the ancient forest.  There are lunch and refreshment stops at the villages of Lavers Hill and Tanybryn.
