Grampians National Park

The Grampians range forms the most western and southern point of the Great Dividing Range that runs near the eastern side of the continent all the way into north Queensland.  Called Gariwerd in the local aboriginal dialect, the Grampians is a mixture of sheer cliffs, rugged sandstone outcrops and forests with abundant wildlife.  Along the scenic drive from Dunkeld through Victoria Valley and on to Halls Gap there are many opportunities for bush walks and climbs to lookouts.
