Your accommodation is almost certainly just a pleasant stroll from Bank and Sackville Streets, home to the town’s shopping and dining. There is a cluster of cafes near the corner of Bank and Sackville Streets, all providing breakfasts through the morning.
After breakfast there are those interesting boutiques, a wealth of colonial architecture, surrounding residential streets lined with mature Norfolk pines, the wharf and riverside walks. Port Fairy has a wealth of restored buildings and some in original condition. The Tourist Information Centre is the best starting point for information and town maps, as there are many lanes with tiny cottages and other hidden treasures.Tweet
